Somewhere along the way, running a small business turned into managing a dozen apps that were supposed to help. We started Mentat to turn that around — to keep the technical work on our side of the table and hand the hours back to you.
Why we exist
Plain tools for people who do real work.
The owners we work with are electricians, dentists, landscapers and shop managers — people who are excellent at their trade and never signed up to be an IT department. They do not need another dashboard to check. They need the phone answered, the invoices paid and the quotes out the door.
So that is what we do. You tell us, in plain language, what is eating your week. We build the automation, connect it to the tools you already use, and run it for you. When something needs a human you call one — us — and we pick up.
We keep our client list small on purpose. It means more of our attention on your setup and a real relationship instead of a support ticket. And if we do not think we can genuinely save you time, we will tell you that too.
